6.1: Haddock Filet and Baba Ganoush with Rice Pilaf

 

Recipe I followed: baba ganoush. Rice pilaf was out of the box and the fish was just seared in the pan in olive oil and seasoned with salt and pepper and then drizzled with lemon juice.

How it came out: Despite being a very ugly plate, all of the food was really delicious. There was too much tahini used and it hid the eggplant, but it was really tasty anyways. Also, when cooking fresh fish, even without any idea how to properly cook it it's such a wonderful ingredient that it comes out good anyways. Also I cooked haddock because halibut is expensive!
